Russia and India have discussed the possibility of introducing a 30-day visa-free regime for group tourist trips, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced.
"I am confident that we will soon begin the process of providing 30-day visa-free travel for tourist groups, and this will strengthen our ability to move people," Modi said through a translator.
The day before, on December 4, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov announced that the ministry plans to launch visa-free group travel between Russia and India following the Russian delegation's visit. Furthermore, according to Reshetnikov, the two sides intend to increase the number of flights.
